Op een citytrip is er op korte tijd heel wat te bekijken, bij 28 graden Celsius was dat soms wel een beetje zwaar. Toch liepen we van ’s morgens vroeg tot ’s avonds laat rond in die wondermooie “Gouden stad”. Van de Karelsbrug tot de Praagse Burcht en over het Wensceslasplein naar de St Vituskathedraal. De stad met de 100 torens is ook de stad van Kafka en het Gouden Straatje, van de Moldau en het Nationaal Theater tot het Dansend Huis en de Televisietoren in de nieuwe stad. Josefov met het Joodse kerkhof waar de graven boven op elkaar gestapeld zijn, maakte grote indruk, het Joods Museum evenzeer! Hier vind je ook het geboortehuis van Franz Kafka, de beroemde schrijver. Tot slot nog een leuk bezoek aan het speelgoedmuseum met wel duizend exemplaren van Barbie, allen om ter mooist uitgedost. Een tochtje met de boot op de Moldau maakte het geheel compleet. Ten years ago in sunny Prague…
On a city trip is in a short ride a lot to see, with 28 degrees Celsius though it was sometimes a bit heavy. Yet we walked from early morning till late evening around in that wonderful “Golden City“. From the Charles Bridge to Prague Castle and from the Wenceslas Square to the St. Vitus Cathedral. The city of 100 towers is also the city of Kafka and the Golden Lane, of the Moldau and the National Theatre to the Dancing House “Fred and Ginger” and of the Television Tower in the modern town. Josefov, in the northern part of the city, contains the Jewish cemetery which made a great impression, here graves are stacked on top of each other.The Jewish Museum was impressing too! Josefov where many Jews lived is also the birthplace of Franz Kafka, the famous writer. Finally we payed a nice visit to the Toy Museum, with thousands of Barbie copies with the most fancy clothes. A ride by boat on the Moldauriver made the trip complete. Tired but happy we returned home: Unforgettable

En un citytrip es mucho para ver en unos dias, a 28 grados Celsius a veces era un poco pesado. Sin embargo, caminamos desde la mañana temprano hasta la noche alrededor de la maravillosa “Ciudad de Oro”. Desde el Puente de Carlos al Castillo de Praga y de la Plaza Wenceslao a la Catedral de San Vito. La ciudad con 100 torres es también la ciudad de Kafka y de la Calle de Oro, del rio Moldava y del Teatro Nacional, de la Casa Danzante “Fred and Ginger” y de la Torre del Televison en la ciudad moderna. En Josefov se situa el cementerio judío, donde las tumbas son apiladas una encima de la otra, causó una gran impresión, el museo judío por igual! Aquí es también el lugar de nacimiento de Franz Kafka, el famoso escritor. Por último una visita al Museo del juguetes con cientos de copias de Barbie vestido con trajes hermosos. Un paseo en barco por el río Moldava hizo completa la viaje. Cansado pero feliz de regresar a casa: Inolvidable
