Een langgekoesterde droom…

Nieuw Zeeland: Het Noordereiland

Wanneer het lente werd in Nieuw-Zeeland reisde ik naar dit bijna grasgroene eiland . Een oude maar nog levende droom ging in vervulling! En inderdaad in de weiden waren er een heleboel schapen en lammetjes, bloemen en bloesems bloeiden op de mooiste plekjes. Maar in de Nieuw-Zeelandse alpen lag er nog altijd sneeuw en ijzel. Het landschap was een lust voor het oog: Glooiende heuvels  gleden langs en de charme van de inlanders kon je overal voelen. De Maori-cultuur is nog levendig en wordt in ere gehouden door tal van dans- en folklore groepen. De natuur komt hier altijd op de eerste plaats en in de regenwouden zou men nooit zelfs maar het kleinste stukje papier achterlaten. De grote steden zoals Wellington en Auckland lagen te glinsteren in de zon en Christchurch, waar een aantal jaren geleden een aardbeving het centrum van de stad verwoestte, was een bezoek meer dan waard. We maakten tochten op de zee en op de meren met zowel kano’s, catamarans, zeilschepen als stoomboten. Vanaf deze periode leven de Nieuw-Zeelanders in en op het water. Van noord naar zuid wordt het land overspoeld met toeristen en er is voor elk wat wils: Bunjeejumping, zeilen, wandelen, trekkings, te veel om op te noemen! Het moet hier een aangename plek zijn om te leven: Sereen met de natuur, milieubewust en vredig, prachtige seizoenen en o zo ongelooflijk mooi !!! 

New Zealand: The Northern Island

When spring came to New Zealand, I traveled to this almost verdant island. An old but still living dream was fulfilled. And indeed there were in the meadows a lot of sheep and lambs,  flowers and blossoms bloomed at the nicest spots. But up in the New Zealand alps there was still snow and sleet. The landscape was a sight to behold: Rolling hills stunning glided past and the charm of the natives was felt everywhere. Maori culture is still alive and has been honored by numerous dance and folklore groups. Nature seemed most imported here and in the rainforests one would never even leave the smallest piece of paper. The big cities like Wellington and Auckland  glowed in the sun and Christchurch, where a few years ago, an earthquake destroyed the city center, was worth visiting. We made trips on the sea and on the lakes with both canoes, catamarans, sailing ships and steamers. From this period, the New Zealanders live in and on the water. From north to south, the country is overrun with tourists and there is something for everyone: Bunjeejumping, sailing, hiking, trekking, you cannot name it! It must be a pleasant place to live. Serene with nature, environmental awareness and peaceful, beautiful seasons and most amazingly beautiful !!!

El Nuevo Zelanda: La isla Norte

Cuando era primavera en Nueva Zelanda, viaje a esta isla casi verde. Un viejo, pero todavía vivos sueño se cumplió. Y de hecho había en el pasto de ovejas y corderos en abundancia, florecieron las flores en los lugares más bellos. Pero en este momento la Nueva Zelanda alpes todavía había nieve y aguanieve. El paisaje era un espectáculo para la vista: Colinas aturdimiento se deslizó pasado y el encanto de los nativos se siente en todas partes. La cultura maorí sigue vivo y ha sido honrado por numerosos grupos de danza y folclore. Naturaleza estaba en todas partes en el centro y en las selvas tropicales uno nunca sería incluso dejar la pieza más pequeña de papel. Las grandes ciudades como Wellington y Auckland brillan en el sol y Christchurch, donde unos años un terremoto destruyó el centro de la ciudad se vale la pena a visitar. Hicimos viajes en el mar y en los lagos con canoas, catamaranes, veleros y vapores. A partir de este periodo, los neozelandeses  viven en y sobre el agua. Del norte al sur el país está lleno de turistas y hay algo para todo el mundo: Bunjeejumpen, vela, caminatas, trekking en las montañas, demasiados para mencionar! Aquí debe ser un lugar agradable para vivir. Serena con la naturaleza, la conciencia ambiental y tranquilo, hermoso temporadas y lo más asombroso hermoso !!!
